You often hear people saying, about equestrian sports, "well, the horse is doing all of the work", but those who participate know that a horse's performance relies on the rider being as fit, balanced and core-strong as possible. If a rider cannot match the athleticism of the horse they are riding, they are never going to get optimal results, instead they will hinder the horse's movement, which could result in loss of performance and injury.

Nic takes his fitness and wellbeing very seriously. You will find him working out most mornings, enjoying cryotherapy and ice barrels for rejuvenation and healing, and challenging his brain and focus with a game of golf because, according to Nic, "Polo is like chess on horseback".
As a polo player the athletic and fitness side are fundamental in allowing me to do what I do at a high-performance level and in this, the experience that Technogym has with World elite athletes is unparalleled.

Nic often posts his morning workouts on his Instagram stories, and is proud to now be partnered with Technobody, who are the top of the game when it comes to fitness for equestrians, having created workout routines that can be incorporated in to the daily routine to ensure an optimal result.
